2009 Mazda6 U.S. Pricing to Start at $18,550


Mazda today announced pricing for the all-new 2009 Mazda6 sedan that will hit dealerships across the U.S. starting in late August, 2008. The entry-level Mazda6 I SV equipped with a 170Hp 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and a six-speed manual transmission will start at $18,550 while the Mazda6 S that’s powered by a 273Hp V6 engine and six-speed Sport AT automatic transmission begins at $24,130.

The 2009 Mazda6 will be available in four trim levels: SV (2.5L models only), Sport, Touring and Grand Touring. All models will feature as standard equipment: air-conditioning, power windows, mirrors and door locks, anti-lock brakes (ABS), dynamic stability control, traction control, frontal and seat-mounted airbags for driver and front passenger, side air-curtain airbags for front and rear seat passengers and a tire-pressure monitoring system.
