Next-Generation Peugeot 208 Dramatically Rendered

We're still a couple of years away from the introduction of the replacement for the Peugeot 207 that will most likely follow the French automaker's current naming system and be called 208, but we're already seeing the first rendered speculations. This CGI proposes a very dramatic yet clean look for Peugeot's Ford Fiesta rival with a prominent lower front grille and concave surfacing on the supermini's sides.

We don't know if the artist created the Peugeot 208 rendering based on inside information, but we certainly hope that the production model looks something like this. Due to hit showrooms in late 2011 - early 2012, the 208 will be available as a hatchback (three and five door variants) as well as a coupe-convertible with a retractable hardtop and a practical station-wagon.
