We’ve lost count of how many times we’ve heard rumors about a successor to the iconic Mazda RX-7. And here we are once again with a new set of -virtually identical- renderings scanned from two different Japanese car magazines that state Mazda will reveal a fourth generation RX-7 Coupe in 2010. While the mags may have their sources, officially, Mazda has never said anything about a new RX-7.
The only thing that Mazda has announced is that it will reveal a significantly revised version of its rotary engine with more power and improved economy in the early 2010s. Now, if that engine will be used on a new model like the RX-7 is something to be seen. We certainly hope so...
