Facelifted 2010 Mazda CX-9 Smiles at New York Auto Show

In case you didn't notice it, this is the updated 2010 Mazda CX-9 that has received a minor exterior and interior facelift, along with added options and updated safety features. On the outside the CX-9 gains a restyled fascia with the typical for all new Mazda cars, smiley-shaped lower grille, new bumper, headlamps and exterior mirrors along with a sculpted five-point upper grille. Other changes include the new alloy wheel designs and the restyled tail lamps.

Inside, the 2010 CX-9 greets its driver to new seating and door trim surfaces, larger entertainment and climate controls, piano-black insets on steering wheel and around audio display and a new double-lid design center console.

There are no mechanical changes with the 2010 CX-9 carrying over from the previous model the 273HP 3.7-liter V6 engine that is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Sales of the updated CX-9 will commence this summer.
