GM’s Swedish counterpart has been considering the possibility (and feasibility) of adding an entry-level premium model to compete against the BMW 1-Series, Audi A3, Mercedes-Benz A-Class and the recent Volvo C30, for quite a while now. Even though Saab hasn’t announced something official, Brit magazine Autocar is supporting that the Swedish carmaker will take the wraps off a prototype version of the car dubbed “9-1” at next July’s London Motor Show
